Privacy Policy

This page is maintained by Mathieu Parent, the individual publisher of the Global Budget app, to explain what data the app collects, how it is stored, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

Global Budget is a personal-finance application built and operated by Mathieu Parent. For any privacy-related question, contact support@globalbudget.app.

2. What data we collect

• Account data: your email address (and optionally your display name) when you sign up.
• Financial data you enter: accounts, balances, transactions, budgets, categories, investment trades, and FX rates.
• Authentication data: if you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive a unique identifier and the email address you authorize the provider to share.
• Technical data: minimal logs needed to keep the service running (request timestamps, error reports).

We do not use third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, and we do not sell your data.

3. How your data is stored

Your data is stored in an encrypted database hosted on Lovable Cloud (Supabase, EU region). All traffic between the app and the server is encrypted in transit (HTTPS / TLS).

4. How your data is used

We use your data only to provide the app's features to you — displaying your accounts, computing budgets, converting currencies and showing your portfolio. We do not share your financial data with any third party.

5. Your rights

• Access & export: contact us to receive a copy of your data.
• Correction: you can edit any data directly inside the app.
• Deletion: open the app → Account → "Delete account" to permanently delete your account and all associated data.

6. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

7. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app.
